This hen party idea actually came from a stag party where you can dress up and add some outfits which are considered usual to nerds – guys who know Encyclopedia Britannica by heart, but cannot tell a single compliment to a lady. Lady nerds also have some specific treats, for example ugly childish haircut – usually 2 ponytails in both sides of the head just above ears. An idea popped out of my head – what if hen party participants could dress up like some heroes from comics and even movies? It would be a very nice venue where ladies wear the costumes of Incredibles, X-men ones or Spiderman. It may look childish in the beginning, but if Hollywood creates a billion worth industry around some movies, why not to use their ideas for personal fun party.

Every comics movie is based on paper comics books and usually have some impressive women characters. Catwoman, Storm and Mystique from X-files, Electra, Mrs Incredible, Invisible Woman from Fantastic Four, Vampirella, Aeon Flux, Wonder Woman, Lara Croft, Xena, Supergirl, Barbarella and some other female superheroes could be a good example for every hen party participant.

These characters are really meaningful because they are powerful ladies which can change the destiny of various countires, humankind and planet Earth or even entire Universe (like Barbarella).

The costumes of these heroes can be bought online at majority of party dress shops. Of course, they have some other costumes which are designed after the male heroes, but they are sexy enough and recognizable in public. The hen party venues should be related to movies and girl power.

Sir Andrew Lloyd Weber has composed one of the greatest musicals of 20th century “Cats” which is still popular and shown in the theatres over the World. Sometimes it seems that hen party is like small Halloween party where all the participants should wear the masks and costumes, but instead Trick or Tread girls just ask for a kiss from a stranger men. The hen horror night idea is simple – just drees up like zombie, Fredie, Jason, skeleton, alien or any bloody creature.
